Extensive surveillance areas and security
The AXIS D2110-VE with 180° horizontal surveillance protects large areas. It can be detected at distances of up to 60 meters (200 feet) for humans and up to 85 meters (280 feet) for vehicles. And with the smart coexistence function, you can use multiple radars close to each other. For example, for complete 360° zone monitoring, two radars can be mounted back and forth to detect vehicles in an area of 22,000 m² (240,000 ft²). The network-based device has built-in cybersecurity features to prevent unauthorized access and protect systems. Signed firmware ensures that only authenticated firmware is installed and not compromised. It has shock and case opening detection for peace of mind, so it can be identified if there is an attempt to manipulate the radar.
Cost-effective installation, complete flexibility
This smart device has PoE output capabilities to power other devices, such as cameras for visual verification or network horn speakers for paper, to reduce wiring costs. For example, we can connect the AXIS P3807-PVE Network Camera to visually see it from the full horizontal detection angle. In addition, the AXIS D2110-VE has an intuitive user interface with map-cutting and rotation for easy configuration. In addition, it is easy to integrate with various third-party image management software systems. Smart utilization is actually limitless.
Solution Overview
The radar is designed to monitor the open area. When a monitoring area has solids such as walls, fences, trees, or large bushes, a blind spot (radar shadow) is created. Install radar on a wall with no stable poles or other objects, or no other devices. Objects that are 1m (3ft) to the left and right of the radar and reflect radio waves affect the performance of the radar. Metal objects within the angle of view produce reflections that affect the radar's ability to perform classification. Flat area coverage is 180°. The detection range is 5600 m2 (61000 ft2) for humans and 11300 m2 (122000 ft2) for vehicles.
